Chart controls

Charts can be zoomed and panned in a variety of ways.

Mouse click

Left- click: Reset to automatic zoom
Right-click: Bring up chart-specific menu.

Mouse wheel

Rotating the mouse wheel will cause the chart to zoom in or out.
If the mouse is over the X axis, only the X axis will zoom.
If the mouse is over the Y axis, only the Y axis will zoom.
If the mouse is over the chart area, both axes will zoom together.

The chart normally only zooms out to the full extent of the data.   To zoom out further than any data present, pressing the Ctrl key at the same time zooming out will override the extents.

Mouse motion

If an area is shift-dragged with the mouse, the chart will zoom to that area.
If the mouse starts over the X axis, only the X axis will zoom.
If the mouse starts over the Y axis, only the Y axis will zoom..
If the mouse is over the chart area, both axes will zoom together.

If a point is dragged with the mouse, the chart will pan accordingly.
Panning is only possible if the chart has been zoomed.

If an area is right-dragged with the mouse, all the samples/probes contained in that area will be selected.   The selections will propagate through to the tables.

Keyboard

The Backspace key will return to the previous zoom setting.
The Home key will reset to the automatic zoom setting.
Arrow keys will pan the picture.
